My Offline PDF Library
PDFs are stored in this device's browser and never uploaded to a server; they stay after you reload the page.
Check the box in a card's top-left corner to add it to the merge list — the number shows the merge order, and dragging cards reorders them.
Your library is empty
Once you add a PDF, it will show a first-page preview and remember your last read page.
How to use the PDF Toolbox
- 1. Click “Add PDF” or drag files onto the page — your PDFs are added to your offline library.
- 2. Pick the files you want to work on in the library and use the toolbar above to merge, split or rotate pages.
- 3. To sign, open the signature tool, draw your signature in the box, then drag it onto the page where you want it.
- 4. When you’re done, click “Export / Merge Files” to download the result — the originals stay in your library.
PDF Toolbox Guide: Merge, Split, Rotate, Sign and Your Offline Library
Most online PDF tools require you to upload your files to their servers first, which is uncomfortable for documents like contracts, quotes or personal IDs. With this PDF toolbox, everything is processed inside your browser, your files stay only on your own device, and there’s no account to create or software to install.
What is the offline PDF library?
PDFs you add are stored in this device’s browser storage, forming a “library.” Your files are still there when you refresh or come back to the page later, your last-read page is remembered, and you can mark frequently used documents as “Favorites.” Keep in mind that the library is tied to this particular browser: if you clear browser data, use private/incognito mode or switch devices, you won’t see it, so always keep separate copies of the original files for important documents.
Four common operations
- Merge: Check the box in the top-left corner of each card in the library; the number on the box is the merge order. Drag cards to change the order, then click “Export / Merge Files.” Great for combining expense receipts, multiple attachments or chapter-by-chapter documents into a single file.
- Split (extract pages): Open the split window and check the pages you want to keep. A new PDF is created and the original file is left unchanged. Useful for sending only the signature page of a contract, or pulling a few pages out of a handout.
- Rotate: Click a page that was scanned in the wrong orientation to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise; keep clicking until it faces the right way.
- Electronic signature: Draw your signature in the box with a mouse, finger or stylus, then drag it to the right spot on the right page to stamp it. Once created, a signature can be duplicated, or you can use “Stamp all on this page,” which is handy when one document needs signing in several places.
Things to keep in mind
- Hand-drawn e-signatures are suitable for signing and returning everyday documents. For formal, legally binding contracts, check with the other party or the relevant authority first whether electronic signatures are accepted.
- Large PDFs or ones with many pages use more memory; if processing is slow on your phone, switch to a computer.
- The library shows how much storage you’re currently using; if space runs low, delete files you no longer need.
- If you just want to read a PDF, use the PDF Reader mode; for paper documents, first turn them into a PDF with the Document Scanner and then add them to your library.
FAQ
Q: Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Merging, splitting, rotating and signing all happen in your browser. Your files stay on this device and are never sent to our servers.
Q: Will the PDFs in my library still be there after I reload the page?
Yes. The library uses your browser’s local storage, so your files remain unless you clear your browser data or delete them yourself.
Q: Can I merge several PDFs at once?
Yes. Tick the box in the top-left corner of each file in your library to add it to the merge list. The number on the box shows the merge order, and you can drag cards to reorder them.
Q: Can I reuse my handwritten signature?
Yes. Once created, a signature can be copied and placed on other pages or documents — no need to draw it again each time.
Q: Does it work on phones?
Yes. On touch devices you can sign with your finger or a stylus, and the layout adapts to your screen size.
