FAQ
Q: Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All editing happens in your browser, including AI background removal (only the model file is downloaded on first use).
Q: Can I edit arrows and text after drawing them?
Yes. In Annotate, use Select to move, recolor, resize or delete them; double-click text to edit it. They are merged into the image only when you download.
Q: How do I combine several screenshots into one?
Click Merge images or select several images at once. Arrange them side by side, stacked or in a grid, adjust spacing, corners and background, then download or continue editing.
Q: How do I make the file smaller?
Reduce the resolution under Resize, then choose JPG or WebP with a lower quality under Export. The estimated file size is shown in real time.

Online Image Editor Guide: Screenshot Annotation, Photo Fixes and Multi-Image Collages
This image editor puts the most common everyday editing features on a single page: crop, rotate, adjust lighting, remove backgrounds, add mosaics, draw arrows and red boxes, and combine multiple images, with no software to install and no account to create. All processing happens inside your browser, and your images are never uploaded.
Common uses
- How-to guides and support reports: After taking a screenshot, mark the steps with arrows, red boxes and numbered dots, then use “Spotlight” to dim everything except the key area.
- Protecting personal information: Before sharing chat screenshots, receipts or documents, cover names, phone numbers, license plates and faces with mosaic or blur.
- Photo fixes: Straighten crooked photos, crop off extra edges, brighten dark areas, or apply a one-click style filter.
- Product photos and headshots: After AI background removal, fill in a white or blue background, then crop to 1:1 or 4:5 for listings or social media.
- Before-and-after comparisons and long images: Use multi-image merge to place two photos side by side, or stack several phone screenshots into one long image.
Tips
- Every step can be undone with Ctrl+Z and redone with Ctrl+Shift+Z; press and hold “Hold to compare” at any time to see the original image.
- Annotations remain editable objects until you download; double-click text to edit it again, or select an object and press Delete to remove it.
- “Frame” places your screenshot on a gradient background with rounded corners and a shadow, which looks especially good in presentations and social posts.
- To shrink a file, first use “Resize” to scale the long edge down to 1280 or 1920, then export as JPG or WebP; it’s usually much smaller.
